With Fixed Wireless Access, a location gets a fixed connection via the mobile network, with an outdoor antenna and a router matched to it.
The big advantage is lead time: where a fibre request can take months, FWA is up within days. That makes it suitable for site cabins, temporary locations and buildings without fibre in the street.
Speed depends on coverage, antenna position and how busy the mast is. Good antenna alignment makes the difference between patchy and business-grade.
