What we deliver

Everything from signal to screen, in one hand

We arrange the channel package and the licences, install and configure the equipment, and keep watching over the whole chain afterwards, whatever cabling is already in the building.

Welcome screen in your house style

Guests see your logo, room number and information about the property the moment the TV switches on. Configurable per building or per guest type.

Casting from the guest's own phone

Guests watch their own subscriptions on the screen. The session is automatically wiped after check-out.

Central management per room

Channels, start-up volume, language settings and messages are managed centrally, without ever entering the room.

Works with what is already there

Existing coax or IP: we connect to the infrastructure that is already in place, so nothing needs to be broken open.

Information channels and signage

Dedicated channels for restaurant times, activities or safety information, also shown on lobby screens.

24/7 monitoring

We usually spot a failed receiver or room before your reception does, and often resolve it remotely.

  • 88% fewer TV complaints at reception after implementation
  • Channel changes rolled out to every screen within minutes
  • One point of contact for both TV and internet on site

We discuss the channel list and pricing with you personally

We do not publish channel lists or prices. Which channels you are permitted to retransmit and what that costs depends on the type of location, the number of connections and the agreements that go with it. After a short site survey you receive a concrete proposal.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What customers most often ask us about managed television.

What is managed IPTV?
IPTV is television delivered over the network instead of via separate coax receivers. Managed means RIAN takes care of the channel package, the licences, the equipment and the monitoring; you manage everything centrally in one portal.
Can I reuse my existing coax installation?
Often yes. During the site survey we determine whether the existing cabling is suitable; if not, we deliver a hybrid solution where coax and IP work side by side.
Are the channel rights arranged?
Yes. RIAN supplies the channel package together with the licences required for business retransmission, including the correct rights for your type of location.
What happens if there is a fault?
Our monitoring usually spots an outage on the headend, network or screen status before a guest calls. Alerts come in to us and we resolve them remotely, or send an engineer.
Which channels are included in the package?
A basic package with the Dutch and Belgian channels, extendable with international, German or Polish packages and themed channels. We put together the package that suits your guests or residents per type of location.
Does it work on guests' or residents' existing TVs?
Yes. We supply a media player per screen, or use hotel mode and app integration on suitable smart TVs. When replacing sets, we advise models that work directly with the system.
Can I show my own channels or information?
Yes. We add a welcome channel, information pages, house rules or park information to the channel list, in your own house style.
How much bandwidth does IPTV use?
We allow roughly 8 to 12 Mbit/s per simultaneous stream. We separate TV traffic from the guest and business network, so peak usage never affects the picture.
