Who is Starlink for business for?
Sites without fibre or with a long wait for it: rural businesses, building sites, campsites and holiday parks, vessels, and shops that want a second connection as backup.
Main line or backup with Peplink
Starlink can be your only connection or run alongside fibre as a backup. A Peplink router combines Starlink with 4G or 5G and switches over automatically.
Installed by RIAN
Our engineers find a spot with a clear sky view, mount the dish storm-proof on a roof or mast and cable it to the router. Nothing to configure yourself.
Management, monitoring and cost
We monitor the connection 24/7. You pay the Starlink subscription directly to Starlink, and RIAN a one-off fee for installation and hardware plus a fixed monthly fee for management.
RIAN is not a Starlink reseller. The Starlink subscription runs through Starlink's official channels; RIAN provides mounting, Peplink integration, failover and management.
Frequently asked questions about Starlink for business
What does Starlink for business cost?
There are two parts: the Starlink subscription and dish, which you take directly from Starlink, and the integration by RIAN. That consists of a one-off installation and hardware cost plus a fixed monthly fee for management and monitoring. After a free site survey you receive a concrete price.
What is the difference between Starlink Business and a residential plan?
A business plan gives priority on the network and is intended for commercial use, even when many people are online at once. For a hotel, campsite or building site we always recommend a business plan.
Does Starlink work on a campsite or holiday park?
Yes. Starlink is often the quickest route to good internet on a site without fibre. RIAN distributes the connection across the park with Wi-Fi masts and access points.
How do I combine Starlink with 4G or 5G?
With a Peplink router. It uses Starlink and one or more 4G or 5G links at the same time and switches over automatically when a link falters, for example in heavy rain or snow.
Who installs the dish?
RIAN's engineers. We choose a spot with a clear view of the sky, mount the dish storm-proof on a roof or mast and run the cabling to the router.
What happens during an outage?
We monitor the connection 24/7. If Starlink drops, the 4G or 5G backup takes over automatically and we often see the fault before you do.
Starlink at your site?
A free site survey tells us the best spot for the dish and whether Starlink fits as main line or backup.
